Thermocouple wire contains MgO and is duplex insulated. The temperature is rated to 900°F except for variation Type T, which is limited to 700°F. This Rigid Tube (Sheath) variation has a threaded fitting which provides an accurate placement in process applications. This thermocouple style can provide protection and accurate placement through bulkheads or platens. For tight immersion applications, use with a compression fitting for liquid.
